Truth Christian Academy Testimonials
Caring and Loving Staff!
"…fantastic school with caring and loving staff. The teachers truly care about subject. They provide a safe learning environment where my children feel confident they can ask questions if they do not understand a concept.
The school has been a HUGE blessing to my family. It is so nice to have peace and know in my heart that I have made the best decision for my children."
God-Breathed School
"My granddaughter attends school here. I have been very impressed with how everything is bathed in prayer. She is so excited about what she is learning and loves all the teachers. The atmosphere is filled with love and kindness. Any incidents are taken care of at once in this same manner. If a child is above their grade level, the school works with them so they are not held back. I am so glad God helped us find this fine school. We are very pleased and will send our granddaughter again next year."
Wonderful School
"My daughter started preschool early for her, it seemed to be exactly what she was expecting. For me it was more than I could have ever expected. She was a little over 2 1/2, when on our way home from school one day she tells me, "mom, you know Jesus lives in our hearts, and He loves us very much." I could not pull the car over fast enough, through the tears of joy. I know this is the perfect school!!"
Confidence Boosting School Environment
"My daughter has been attending TCA for two years in their preschool class – she has grown soooo much through the love, patience, kindness, and fun environment this incredible school provides. The one on one attention she gets has given her the confidence to go on socially and academically. This school provides the safety that I look for in a school. God has truly blessed this school with a wonderful staff who cares about the academic and personal needs of each child. I recommend this school to all my friends – being a single mom it works with my budget."

To whom it may concern,
As an experienced teacher (15 years in the public schools) and administrator of a private school (28 years), I have observed the growth of Truth Christian Academy with satisfaction. They do a wonderful job with students, especially those in need of special or extra help, and it is my pleasure to recommend them without reservation.
Truth Christian Academy's curriculum is based on the Classical Christian Education model. Children in all grades learn math facts and concepts; acquire and apply the rudiments of both phonics and phonemic awareness; investigate physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science each year; study history chronologically, from Creation through the present, before high school; learn and use the basics of English grammar; and memorize Bible verses and facts. Latin instruction starts in third grade. Critical thinking, logic, apologetics, and Spanish are added in the secondary program. All grades participate in art, music, physical education, and Bible instruction.
Currently in its eighth year, TCA has 49 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The administration, staff, and faculty value diversity and seek to reach students who have a special need for the personalized education offered. With limited income, an overwhelming number of students with special learning needs, and limited classroom space in a rented building, TCA needs to:
update curriculum (textbooks and supportive materials)
upgrade technology and computers
improve their basic science lab and materials
With access to the most current books, technology, and science tools, TCA’s students will be able to meet the challenges in continuing in their education, meeting their goals for the future, and competing in the competitive world of higher education and professional growth. These students deserve access to the most current materials so they can become productive members and leaders in our society.
Sincerely,
Truman Abbott

Dear TCA administration and staff:
1/6/12
We want to extend our deep appreciation and gratitude for opening and running the most amazing school we’ve ever found. It was beyond our imagination that we would find a school, staff, and educational model that address so beautifully the developing child of our times. Our children have been homeschool, in public schools, in charter school, and in private religious schools. Never have we encountered such a school as yours with academic standards, character/virtue standards, and the desire to improve and excel .
Regarding academics, you are using superior and effective curriculum I would handpick myself. It all works together beautifully. The skilled staff interweave the materials magnificently. We can see our children unfolding in understanding and comprehension before our very eyes. It is not unusual for them to identify Latin within conversations around town. It is not unusual to see them identify parts of speech when reading out loud. It is not unusual for them to use math concepts beyond their age. You are truly making incredible progress with our children.
Regarding the character and virtue, attention they get at TCA is incomparable to anything we’ve experienced. I believe all teachers aspire to such lofty ideals as teaching children to be of good character. Unfortunately, with all the factors influencing this development it often goes to the wayside. We have watched you phenomenally mastermind the integration of character development and virtue in and among your daily curriculum. You don’t ignore any problems, and seem to take joy in having the opportunity to work with the children to help them develop and progress as polite and respectful students. I know this comes with great attention and unending devotion to situations that would be easier to brush under the rug. Practically, my kids are nicer to us and their siblings. They reason through their choices and seem to own what mistakes they have made. In the past, they would be quick to blame and excuse. They sing, laugh, and are the care-free children they should be as they develop and grow in a safe, supportive, loving environment.
You care for your staff, and the staff care so much for their students success. It is a trickle down from the top. We feel so peaceful knowing they are in your care. We have no hesitations in placing them there; knowing their needs will be met. You’ve worked so diligently to help both kids get the level of education they needed, showing amazing insight and wisdom in doing so. At previous schools, they were pushed along and progressed through a curriculum with little attention/ability to true comprehension and learning.
Your program has been called a diamond in the rough. We believe this to be true. We want to shout out from a mountain top to anyone who will listen. TCA is incredible and making so many right choices that their success is beyond measure and beyond paper. We were driving by school one Saturday and my kids said, “Oh, is it school today?” I said, “No, it’s Saturday…we’ll be back on Monday.” “Oh, that’s too bad,” they said, and a profound sadness enveloped my car. Wow, is all we can say sometimes.
It is our sincere hope, that TCA never closes its door and will continue to grow and help more children reach their true potential. You are all a living testimony to what can be done when great people use their given gifts combined with phenomenal curriculum, and true care for the whole child’s education. Simply put, you are a miracle we can’t stop giving thanks for!
With sincere gratitude and appreciation,
Ron & Lisa Seybert

TCA is the best!
Just wanted to let you know, how much l am impressed with your school! My daughter is doing so well. I never thought she would be doing and learning so much just in preschool. I have been impressed time and time again with what she tells me she learned at school each day & what she is understanding. Math & numbers, spelling, writing and singing all the time.
Thank you for giving my little girl the head start she needs to navigate life’s obstacles ahead of her.
Sincerely,
Lisa Jensen

To whom it may concern:
For me, this is one of the most honorable and exciting moments in my life to have a chance to write a letter why I want to see more students attend Truth Christian Academy. As a parent of two students of TCA, I have known TCA and its staffs and teachers since 2006, when my family came to Denver, Colorado. I still remember the day I visited TCA for the first time. I was deeply impressed in my first conversation with TCA staffs and teachers by their clear goal, purpose, love, and deep passion in teaching and caring for students. During the last five years of my experience has confirmed that my first impression of TCA was absolutely right. Their resilient passion in teaching, loving, and equipping children with knowledge and matured characters has strengthened my children and has rooted character in their heart even more deeply. I am happy to write a letter to support their application for a grant for the following reasons.
First, they retained their never changing goal, purpose, and passion in teaching and loving students to equip them with knowledge and matured characters. Not to mention their unparalleled characteristics in loving and caring for students, their teaching skills and curriculum stands out from others. My two kids, who attend a public school now because we had to move to northern Denver, demonstrate excellent academic achievement in a public school and they acknowledge always TCA for their academic success and confidence. My friend who sends his kids to TCA have complemented on TCA’s teaching and curriculum, as well.
Second, there is no question about their faithfulness in pursuing their improvement. For the time that I have known them, I have never questioned their genuine efforts in improving their learning environment and seeking a chance to recruit international students to bring global and multicultural perspectives into their classroom, which will result in raising global leaders. Considering their never distracted efforts and hard works the last five years of my experiences, I am confident to say that they will grow amazingly and be very successful in achieving their educational goals and purposes.
Third, their genuine love toward students and family, especially in needs, also confirms the reason why they must have a chance to receive the grant. I could see their assiduity toward students and families in struggle with insufficient finance, family problems, and so on, whenever I have a conversation with them. They are generous enough to waive tuition for the families in financial difficulties under the situation of their own financial hardship. I believe it is legitimate to say that it is their turn to get a support.
I am so confident in saying that my experience and evaluation of TCA will be yours. I strongly ask you to give TCA the grant to grow and provide better learning environment for the students in the small school with great potential to grow.
If you have any other question for me, please feel free to contact me at 720-840-7088.
Sincerely,
Kim, Songmin,
