This deposit can be made through a wire transfer (details attached) or in cash. If the student is enrolling for two semesters (one school year), the deposit will be $12,340. If the student enrolls for one semester and then chooses to stay an additional semester, an additional deposit of $6070 will be required.
In addition to the above, the student must have a round-trip ticket from his/her home country to Denver, CO, USA, as well as medical/dental/accident insurance. It is wise to include funds for extra medical expenses as well as emergencies. Please note that the following are not included in the above information:
Transcript evaluation by a service such as Educational Perspectives, English language testing such as SLEP (see admission procedure for specifics) SEVIS application fee
TCA encourages use of a prepaid debit card for personal expenses. Parents or sponsors of the student can load money on this card for the student’s use. TCA will assist the student’s family in getting this card. The parents may also provide money and instructions to TCA; TCA will give the student the money on a regular basis. Please note that, for an F-1 student visa, the student may be required to prove that the student or his/her parents have enough funds to cover tuition and living expenses during the student’s stay in the United States. When TCA gets the student’s deposit, TCA will provide a receipt which shows these funds are on deposit.
If the student is unable to get an F-1 student visa, the deposit will be refunded.
